Build a custom CMS with Django
I swear I don't work for Carsonified, even though I post reference to them a lot. I guess I am starting to feel like a fan boy. Honestly, I do like to try and follow their company — any company that gives their workers 35 days holiday a year and 4 day work weeks is worth following don't ya think?
Plus they do fun stuff like document building a django app in a week, or publish a 4 minute video detailing one day building the django app. Anyway, it looks like Jeff Croft is giving a workshop on Building a django CMS. And ya know what - the more we keep talking about Django and doing workshops like this the better, even if it does cost a few dollars... I mean pounds :)
"In this full-day workshop, designer and developer Jeff Croft will walk you through creating a custom Django-powered CMS (content management system) from the ground up, starting with creating data models for your content, through Django's view functions, URL configuration, and template language."
I just love this kind of workshops specially from an expert like Croft. And a company like that surly rocks :P

I was excited to see that Ryan had chosen Django for their new app. It's even greater that he's got Croft doing workshops now. Wish it was a little closer.
